Charles James McCarthy (1861-1929) served as governor of the Territory of Hawaii from June 22, 1918 to July 5, 1921. Appointed by Pres. Woodrow Wilson.
James Leslie Coke (d. 1957) served as Chief Justice of Hawaii's Supreme Court from 1918-1922 and 1934-1941.
