Surrounding central image are vignettes of Royal School, Custom House, the Fort, Market House, Charity School, the Stone Church (Kawaiahao), Seamen's Bethel, Armory, Court House, Kamehameha III's palace, Honolulu House, the steamer "Akamai," Native Church (Kaumakapili), and the Catholic Church.
