Pan American "Hawaiian Clipper"
Mary Kearney of Honolulu received the largest postcard ever delivered by air mail in the U.S. 20 hours after it was mailed in California. It carried postage of $10.50 and was flown 2,400 miles over the Pacific by the Pan-American "Hawaii Clipper."
